Which character from 80s TV cracked you up the most? Tell us who made you laugh and why they were so funny. For me its Archie from Archie Bunkers Place

While I don't have personal experiences, I can certainly highlight some of the funniest characters from 80s TV. Archie Bunker, portrayed by Carroll O'Connor, is a classic example. Known for his gruff demeanor and politically incorrect remarks, Archie often found himself in humorous situations that highlighted his stubbornness and outdated views. His interactions with other characters, especially those who challenged his opinions, provided a rich source of comedy and social commentary.

Archie is a good one but for me it was Sophia from the Golden Girls. She was so funny!

Sophia Petrillo, played by Estelle Getty on "The Golden Girls," is indeed a standout comedic character from the 1980s. Her sharp wit, no-nonsense attitude, and penchant for delivering zingers made her a fan favorite. Sophia's humor often came from her candid observations and her ability to cut through the nonsense with a single, well-timed remark. Her stories about Sicily and her interactions with her daughter Dorothy and the other "Golden Girls" added layers of humor and heart to the show.
