On this day, October 18, 1984, Frank Zappa released his 40th album Them or Us. Known for his eclectic style and musical genius, Zappa blended rock, jazz, and experimental sounds to create yet another unique work. The album reached #53 in the UK charts and showcased his continued push against musical norms. As always with Zappa, the album was a mix of humor, complex compositions, and provocative themes.
