Plot: As youths, Andy McGee and his future wife, Vicky, participated in secret experiments, allowing themselves to be subjected to mysterious medical tests. Years later, the couple's daughter, Charlie, begins to exhibit the ability of setting fires solely with her mind. Firestarter was an awesome 80s movie. Great actors like George C Scott, David Keath, Moses Gunn, Heather Locklear and a very youngDrew Barrymore. Thats an 80s movie that never gets played out. I just want to know what the hell were they thinking when they made a remake of Firestarter?Did they honestly think that they could make a better version than the origina? Once in a blue moon and remarkably they do but most of the time they’re just awful. There’s just no creativity left.
 
I loved this movie!!! Do you remember the sound effects coming from Keath's head when he was using his telepathic powers??? Uh uh uh uh hahaha!!!
