On this day, October 29, 1983, the final episode of The Dukes animated series aired on CBS. The show, based on the popular live-action series The Dukes of Hazzard, featured the animated adventures of the Duke boys as they raced around the world to win prize money and save the family farm. Running for two seasons with a total of 20 episodes, The Dukes brought the charm of the original show to Saturday morning cartoons.
