On this day, October 26, 1985, the final episode of Lime Street aired on ABC. Starring Robert Wagner, the show followed an insurance investigator who tackled unusual cases. Despite its promising premise, Lime Street ran for only one season with a total of 8 episodes. The show ended early due in part to the tragic passing of co-star Samantha Smith, a young peace activist, which affected the production and its future.
