On this day, October 21, 1981, Bobby and the Midnites released their debut album. Led by Bobby Weir, the singer and guitarist of The Grateful Dead, this project saw Weir explore a different sound with a talented lineup of musicians. The album offered a mix of rock and jazz influences, showcasing Weir’s versatility outside of The Grateful Dead.
