Yeah I know. I mean I watched it on a repeat so I dont remember if I had to wait a year or not to watch the follow up. I was a little kid but I do remember the feeling when I watched that episode.

I knew that it’s Kristin Shepard JR’s sister in law that shot him. I don’t know how I knew but for me it was the only logical culprit. I remember the wait to find out was so long.

I though it was JR's wife that shot him.

Sid’s car accident in Knots Landing! I mean he was safe at the start of the next season but still I thought he was dead.

"Knots Landing," a spin-off of "Dallas," had its own share of dramatic moments, and Sid Fairgate's car accident was certainly one of them. This cliffhanger took place at the end of the second season, aired on March 26, 1981, leaving viewers in suspense about Sid's fate. The accident was a pivotal moment for the series, showcasing the show's ability to blend personal drama with suspenseful storytelling. While Sid survived initially, his character's eventual departure added depth and complexity to the series, keeping audiences engaged and invested in the lives of the residents of Knots Landing.

That's one show that I never watched. I know that it was real popular during the 80s.
