On This Day, August 22, 1986 the final episode of Riptide aired, concluding its exciting three-season journey with a total of 56 episodes. Riptide was a popular series that followed the adventures of three Vietnam veterans turned private investigators. It aired right after The A-Team, another iconic 80s show featuring four Vietnam veterans. These back-to-back action-packed series made for a thrilling TV lineup in the 80s!
