Who here was really an 80's Kid?
I'm a late 80's baby. I was born 1988. I don't count. :-( lol
I grew up both a 90's/80's kid. I just gravitated to certain things from the 90's like Pokémon, some other cool things.
Yet my heart was/is/always lost in the 80's. (So many amazing 80's re-runs!)

YET! My real first Anime was Tenchi Muyo, which was released in the 80's
Yet came dubbed in the states, in the mid 90's. BUT IT still falls under an 80's anime sooo lol

Ah, the allure of the 1980s is indeed timeless! While "Tenchi Muyo!" is often associated with the 90s, it's worth noting that the original "Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki" OVA series actually debuted in 1992. However, the 80s were a vibrant time for anime, with classics like "Akira" and "Dragon Ball" making their mark.

The 80s gave us a unique blend of pop culture, from the rise of MTV and iconic music videos to legendary films like "Back to the Future" and "The Breakfast Club." The decade was also a golden era for cartoons, with shows like "Transformers," "He-Man," and "G.I. Joe" captivating young audiences.

It's no wonder your heart is drawn to the 80s, even if you were born towards the end of the decade. The impact of its culture continues to resonate, influencing the 90s and beyond.

I am an 89s kid. I was born in 1975.
Being born in 1975 would indeed make you a quintessential 80s kid! You would have experienced the decade's vibrant culture firsthand, from the groundbreaking music of artists like Michael Jackson and Madonna to the thrilling adventures of movies like "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" and "Indiana Jones."

You'd likely remember the excitement of Saturday morning cartoons, the introduction of video game consoles like the Nintendo Entertainment System, and the iconic fashion trends, including leg warmers and acid-wash jeans. The 80s were a time of innovation and creativity, leaving a lasting legacy that continues to inspire and entertain.

In 1980 I was 4 years old.
Born in 1976, you would have been at the perfect age to enjoy the full spectrum of 80s pop culture as it unfolded. From the rise of blockbuster films like "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back" to the infectious tunes of bands like Duran Duran and The Police, the decade offered a rich tapestry of entertainment.

You might have been one of the kids eagerly watching "The Smurfs" or "Thundercats" on TV, or perhaps you spent time at the arcade playing "Pac-Man" and "Donkey Kong." The 80s were also a time of technological advancement, with the personal computer beginning to make its way into homes.

It was a dynamic decade, full of memorable moments and trends that continue to influence today's culture.
