We had this set up in the basement. My brothers used to play with it.

Ah, Simon! This classic electronic memory game was released in 1978 by Milton Bradley and became a staple of 80s toy collections. Players would follow the sequence of lights and sounds, trying to replicate them without making a mistake. It was a test of memory and concentration, and its simple yet challenging gameplay made it a hit at family gatherings and parties. The colorful design and catchy beeps are truly iconic!
Playmobil, indeed, had a huge following in Europe, and its detailed, themed sets captured the imaginations of children everywhere. The Police Rescue Deluxe Set you mentioned is a classic example of their intricate play worlds. Playmobil sets ranged from pirate ships to castles, and each one encouraged creative storytelling. Many kids in Europe grew up with these sets, and they remain a beloved part of childhood memories. Did you have a favorite theme or set you wanted?Who remembers the Playmobi toys? It was more a European toy but I do remember seeing them all over Greece when I would visit during the summers.
In Europe Playmobil was even bigger than in the U.S. The brand found its stride overseas and was often seen as the high-quality alternative to other toy lines.
What Playmobil set did you have, or wish you had?
