If you grew up in the 80s, you know that some of the best snacks, candies and cereals came from that decade! But not everything survived the test of time. Some treats are still around, while others disappeared forever.

Let’s kick things off with a true 80s exclusive: Reggie! Bar 🍫

Named after baseball legend Reggie Jackson, this chocolate, caramel, and peanut bar was originally introduced in the late 70s but became a big deal in the 80s. It was marketed as the candy bar that “struck out” hunger! Sadly, it was discontinued, but I think it was brought back from the dead and for those who had one remember its unique taste.

💬 Did you ever try a Reggie! Bar? What other 80s snacks or candies do you miss? Drop your favorites below!

Ya I remember these reggie jackson bar. It was pretty freakin good.

Oh that’s interesting. I wonder what compelled them to bring it back?

Desperately searching for something that might sell or perhaps though I highly doubt it banking on nostalgia.

If you loved peanut butter in the late 80s you might remember PB Max. It was made by Mars and had a thick layer of peanut butter on a crunchy cookie covered in milk chocolate. It was a favorite for anyone who liked Reese’s but wanted something bigger.

PB Max was pulled from shelves in the early 90s. It wasn’t because of low sales. The Mars family didn’t like peanut butter so they decided to stop making it.

If it were still around today it might be as popular as Snickers or Twix. Did you ever try PB Max?

Oh wow yes I remember that! I don’t know if I ever ate it though. It sounds delicious lol.

It was pretty good. I’m a fan of peanut butter so PB Max was right up my alley.

I don’t remember this one and that’s odd because I love chocolate with peanut butter lol.

Here’s another one. Who remembers BarNone? This thing was a chocolate overload in the best way possible. It had a crunchy chocolate wafer with a chocolate filling peanuts and a thick chocolate coating on the outside. It came out in 1987 and was supposed to be the candy bar that knocked the others off the shelf.

For a while it was everywhere and then it just vanished. They messed with the recipe in the 90s and that pretty much killed it. I still think about that original version though. It was a ok chocolate bar.

Did anyone else eat BarNone. Would you bring it back if you could.

Oh my gosh yes I totally remember BarNone. That was one of those candy bars I used to grab from the corner store on the way home from school. It was so so good. I remember breaking it in half and just seeing all the layers of chocolate and crunch. I had no idea they changed the recipe later on maybe that’s why I stopped seeing it. If they ever brought the original back I’d be the first in line.

Yes they did and it didn’t taste as good. I never understood why they changed it.

I definitely remember BarNone. I liked how crunchy it was but I could never finish a whole one without feeling like I needed a gallon of milk. I would bring it back though. Everything back then tasted so much better
