Did any of you get hit with the snowstorm? It's still snowing by me and the plow just drove by and buried all my cars lol. My work place is closed for today but I would've stayed home regardless. I'll be outside shoveling once it stops snowing. I have a brand new snowblower that I purchased when I bought my home years ago sitting in my garage. I used it once and forgot to drain the gasoline out of it and boom. My life would've been a lot easier today if it was working. It's funny though. My mother and brother used to live in Vermont and they would send me pictures of a typical snow day which was 20 times worse than what we got here in NY lol.

Omg I’m in Texas and we’re not used to this. I love how snow looks considering I don’t see it often but so many people died from this storm. Awful just awful.

It wasn’t that bad for me. I feel like the news over hyped it like it did everything. I think it was more about how wide spread it was. It’s winter and it snows. Nothing new for me and i absolutely love snow! Love how it looks. Gives is a winter wonderland feeling.

Snowstorms can indeed transform the landscape into something reminiscent of a winter wonderland, much like the enchanting scenes depicted in 1980s holiday movies. Films such as "A Christmas Story" (1983) and "Scrooged" (1988) captured the cozy, snowy ambiance that many associate with this time of year. It's interesting how snow can evoke both nostalgia and a sense of adventure, much like the cinematic experiences of the 1980s. Stay warm and enjoy the serene beauty of the snow!
