On this day January 29, 1980, the Rubik's Cube had its global launch at the Ideal Toy Corporation in London. It was originally called the Magic Cube and was invented in 1974 by Hungarian Professor Ernő Rubik. It's interesting how it started at $1.99 and became such an iconic puzzle!
This was a pretty good article and I have to say I was a huge fan of G.I. Joe toys. I had so many characters and even had the aircraft carrier which I never took out of the box. I just wish that I still had it.
