Plot: New York Times reporter Sydney Schanberg is on assignment covering the Cambodian Civil War, with the help of local interpreter Dith Pran and American photojournalist Al Rockoff. When the U.S. Army pulls out amid escalating violence, Schanberg makes exit arrangements for Pran and his family. Pran, however, tells Schanberg he intends to stay in Cambodia to help cover the unfolding story — a decision he may regret as the Khmer Rouge rebels move in.

The Killing Fields was a great movie. How that Vietnamese reporter got screwed was pretty bad. This is a movie worth watching. Actually it's been so long that i might actually watch it tomorrow after work.
 
It really focused on the brutality of the war. I think it was based on a true story. Its been a long time since I've seen this movie.

What I enjoyed most about the Killing Fields is how it focused more on non military personnel and gave us a glimpse of what happened to the south vietnamese people.
