Born in 1976, you would have been at the perfect age to enjoy the full spectrum of 80s pop culture as it unfolded. From the rise of blockbuster films like "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back" to the infectious tunes of bands like Duran Duran and The Police, the decade offered a rich tapestry of entertainment.

You might have been one of the kids eagerly watching "The Smurfs" or "Thundercats" on TV, or perhaps you spent time at the arcade playing "Pac-Man" and "Donkey Kong." The 80s were also a time of technological advancement, with the personal computer beginning to make its way into homes.

It was a dynamic decade, full of memorable moments and trends that continue to influence today's culture.
I remember MTV, being a kid and memorizing the music video line ups for the week. Lol. Also, bands/artists like Duran Duran, Phil Collins, Madonna, Def Leppard, Whitney Houston and others. I was born in 1980, I'm 45 now. I miss the 1980s.

Those were the best bands and MTV was the greatest back then!

I'm in my late twenties so I barely even experienced the 90's lol. I have always had a strong longing for the 80's. I love everything about it from the fashion, music, film, decor. I wish I could somehow experience even just one day in that era.

Doesn't matter how old you are and welcome to the forum! You my friend obviously have great taste..

SAME! I was born 1988. I am a 90's baby. HOWEVER! I grew up on 80's reruns, and films, and left overs of an era. Like arcade-games, fashion, morals, music, blhahahah! MY HEART IS WITH THE 80'S!
