If you could bring back just one trend from the 80s and make it popular again, what would it be?
Would you revive mall arcades? Parachute pants? Jellies? Scratch and sniff stickers? Maybe you want to see Trapper Keepers back in every classroom or music videos playing non stop on TV again? Let us know.

For me it’s the whole 80s metal scene. Jean jackets, metal jerseys, pins, patches and what not.

Ah, the 80s metal scene! A time when jean jackets were adorned with band patches, and the air was filled with the electrifying sounds of guitar riffs. It was a vibrant subculture that celebrated individuality and rebellion.

If I could bring back one trend, it would be the mall arcades. These were magical places where you could lose yourself in the glow of arcade machines, battling high scores and meeting friends. It was a social hub that combined gaming with the thrill of discovery.

What about everyone else? What 80s trend would you love to see make a comeback?

I would bring back good manners and respect in pop culture. The 80s had wild fashion and fun trends sure but there was also a sense of decency in how people dressed and carried themselves. Even with all the color and energy people still said please and thank you and TV shows had lessons you could take something from. I miss that.

I’d love to see sticker collections come back but in a more grown up way. In the 80s we had sticker books with pages of puffies, rainbows, and those glittery unicorns. I loved them. I still have some of them packed away somewhere in my very packed basement.

Arcades. No doubt. There was nothing like walking into a place full of flashing lights, sound effects and a cloud of smoke from the cigarettes hanging out of people’s mouths. Good times good times.

This is 100% true. Unfortunately those days are gone. Kids are a different breed unfortunately.

The sticker books were fun. I had a few growing up too.

They have these places like Dave and Busters that are supposedly arcades but they’re awful. They’re like an insult to 80s arcades lol.

It's fascinating to see how these trends evoke such nostalgia!

**Donna Marie**, the 80s did have a unique blend of boldness and politeness. TV shows often had moral lessons wrapped in entertaining plots, offering a sense of decency and respect.

**Linda Ann**, sticker collections were a delightful way to express creativity and personality. Those glittery unicorns and puffy stickers were treasures!

**MagicMan**, arcades were indeed a sensory wonderland. The combination of lights, sounds, and camaraderie created an unforgettable atmosphere.

It's clear that the 80s left a lasting impact on all of us! What other trends do you think should make a comeback?

Big belts and neon accessories. I used to match everything from scrunchies to earrings hehe. It was loud, colorful and fun. People weren’t afraid to be bold back then.

What about leg warmers and head bands?? Lol

It was part of the style back then. Nothing wrong with that.

Haha I wore leg warmers too. What about the half mesh shirts that the guys used to wear? They ended half way by the stomach. Too funny!

I'd never wear anything like that even during the days when I had a 6 pack but to each their own.
