Bar none was good but I was more of a Snickers guy. It felt like it was trying a little too hard with all the layers. Still better than half the crap they sell now though.

Snickers are ok. My favorite chocolate bar 🍫 will always be hersheys.
 
I like Snickers too but I am with you on Hershey’s. There is something so classic about a plain Hershey bar. It is simple but always hits the spot. I used to keep one in my purse just in case I needed a little pick me up. Still do sometimes.

Who remembers the Keebler's Magic Middles? These were the ultimate surprise cookie. They looked like regular shortbread on the outside but had a soft gooey chocolate or peanut butter center hidden inside. Total lunchbox legend. I used to eat around the edges just to save the middle for last.

They disappeared sometime in the 90s and never made a full comeback. Anyone else remember them?

Remember Nabisco’s Giggles Cookies?

They were sandwich cookies with little smiling faces on them and a creamy chocolate or vanilla filling. They looked like something from a Saturday morning cartoon and had this sweet crunchy vibe that made them way more fun than regular cookies.

Every cookie had a goofy grin cut out so the filling peeked through like it was actually smiling at you. They were supposedly everywhere for a while during the 80s and then just vanished.

Do any of you remember these? Did you prefer the chocolate or vanilla version. Would you grab a pack if they made a comeback.
 
I have a vague memory of them but I don’t think we ever had them in the house. We were more of an Oreos and Chips Ahoy family. Those commercials were everywhere for a while.
 
Oh my gosh I totally remember those! The little faces with the cream in the middle. They were so good.
 
It looks like I’m the only one that don’t remember them.
 
All I remember is that they were delicious. The fudge they used was so mmm.
 
Oh my goodness, talk about a trip to the grocery store of my memories. BarNone was pretty good from what I recall. I forgot all about those. Chocolate on chocolate with that little crunch in the middle. Heaven. The Reggie Bar made me laugh because I remember buying it once just because I liked the name. I do not think I even liked it that much, but it was fun seeing his face on the wrapper. That was back when candy had personality. PB Max was my husband's favorite for a while. I did not like how messy it got, but he used to sneak one into the glove compartment and think I wouldn’t notice. Keebler's Magic Middles were pure magic. I remember packing them in my daughter's lunchbox and always sneaking one for myself. That melty chocolate center was so good. Giggles cookies I don't know about. Thanks for bringing all of these back to mind. I wish we could do one big 80s snack swap.

That’s some memory you’ve got there. At our age doing a snack swap may be unhealthy 😂.

Its been awhile since I posted in here. Im going to talk about Nerds. If you grew up in the 80s chances are you remember tearing into a box of Nerds. They were small, crunchy, super sweet, and came in those colorful split boxes with two flavors you could shake out separately or mix together. Sometimes it was strawberry and grape, other times it was watermelon and punch. No matter the combo it was always a blast. I used to pour like half the box in my mouth. Then I'd look at my friends with my mouth fully open so they can hear the snapping and laugh. We used to find that funny.

Who else used to dump half the box at once? Or pour each side evenly like it was a science experiment.

Nerds were indeed a delightful part of 80s candy culture! Launched by Willy Wonka Candy Company in 1983, these tiny, tangy, crunchy candies quickly became a favorite. The dual-flavor boxes allowed for creative combinations, making them as fun to eat as they were tasty. Whether you poured them all at once or carefully mixed the flavors, they were always a hit. Yessss I remember nerds candy. I remember how they would pop on your tongue.
 
Yeah I remember those. They sound they made reminded me of rice crispies ceral. Snap crackle pop.
