On this day June 14, 1987, Madonna kicked off her Who's That Girl World Tour in Osaka, Japan. This was her second concert tour and her first global one, covering Asia, North America and Europe across more than 30 cities.

The tour supported her album True Blue as well as the soundtrack to the film Who's That Girl. It featured bold choreography, costume changes and theatrical staging that raised the bar for pop concerts at the time. Madonna opened the show with Open Your Heart and powered through a hit packed setlist including Like a Virgin, Papa Don't Preach, Holiday and the title track Who's That Girl.
