Back in the 80s, a simple sheet of paper could unlock a world of fun and creativity. The paper fortune teller (or cootie catcher) was a schoolyard classic—predicting who you’d marry, what car you’d drive, or even daring you to do something embarrassing!

What do you remember writing on yours? Did you stick to fun predictions, dares, or something totally random?

Let’s take a trip down memory lane and share your favorite memories or ideas for what you’d write on a paper fortune teller today!

Omg yes I remember this! I never knew that this was called the paper fortune teller or cookie catcher! I had so much fun with in school. I remember using the multi color pen to write on each part of the paper. I don’t remember what I wrote lol.

It’s amazing how simple things like that kept us entertained. Can you imagine that in this day in age?

Yeah I remember that. I didn’t know that it had a name. Remember playing the paper triangle puck football or whatever the hell it was called?

I remember the boys in my class playing it all the time. I think it was called football puck.

I knew it as puck in school but I also heard kids refer to it as paper and flick football.

Woah! I remember folding my looseleaf paper in like 3 to the right and like down 4 times or something in that order. The teachers used to yell at us for playing it in class.

I remember folding it into an x and then folded the paper diagonally in both directions. That’s all I remember lol.
