This hit me the other day and it made me laugh. I was on tictoc and was looking at 1980s commercials that were on TV so often that they burned themselves into your brain. I realized I can still say some of them almost word for word without even thinking about it. The Toys R Us jingle is one that stuck with me. I swear every kid knew that one by heart.

Funny how a 30 second commercial can stay in your head for forty years.

What 80s commercial can you still remember word for word?

Lol the only commercial that I can recite word from word is Where's the beef because its all they say. I'm good with reciting popular lines but a whole commercial line from line I can't do. I know someone that can though. She can listen to something for the first time and then she'll be reciting it minutes later. That's a gift.

I still know the whole “I want my MTV” commercial with the rock stars saying it. It felt so cool at the time. MTV made everything feel bigger than life and those ads were part of that whole vibe.
