On this day, October 14, 1988, The Kiss hit theaters. Directed by Pen Densham, this supernatural horror film starred Joanna Pacula, Meredith Salenger, and Mimi Kuzyk. Despite its eerie plot and a budget of $2.5 million, it only managed to gross $1.8 million at the box office, but it still found a cult following among horror fans.
