On this day January 23, 1986, a significant moment in music history occurred as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame welcomed its inaugural members. The legendary inductees included Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Chuck Berry, James Brown, Ray Charles, Sam Cooke, Fats Domino, The Everly Brothers, Buddy Holly, and Jerry Lee Lewis. This was the first time that anyone was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
