On this day, November 24, 1988, the 2nd Annual WWF Survivor Series took place at the Richfield Coliseum in Richfield, Ohio. This iconic event featured thrilling tag team elimination matches, showcasing some of wrestling’s biggest stars of the era, including Hulk Hogan, André the Giant, Randy Savage, and The Ultimate Warrior.

The Survivor Series continued to cement itself as one of the WWF’s most exciting annual events, delivering memorable rivalries and action-packed bouts.

Fun Fact: The Richfield Coliseum opened on October 26, 1974, as the new home for the Cleveland Cavaliers. It was also one of the first arenas to feature luxury boxes, setting a trend for modern stadiums!
