For those that never heard or seen the horror film Silent Night, Deadly Night you could read about it here. When the movie Silent Night, Deadly Night both popular film critics Siskel and Ebert ripped it apart. They called it quite sick and called out Tri-Star Pictures, which was a conglomerate comprised of Columbia Pictures, CBS, and HBO. Siskel also called out writer Michael Hickey, director Charles E. People have to understand that violent movies like this one that was representing Christmas was a big time taboo back in those day. If Silent Night, Deadly Night came out today it would‘ve just been considered another horror movie. Nothing special. Anyways I always like this movie.
