On this day, November 30, 1982, Sammy Hagar released his seventh studio album, Three Lock Box. Featuring collaborations with Mike Reno (Loverboy), Jonathan Cain (Journey), and Richard Page (Mr. Mister), the album showcased Hagar’s signature blend of rock energy and melodic craftsmanship.

Three Lock Box reached #17 on the Billboard 200 chart by April 9, 1983, and included the hit single “Your Love Is Driving Me Crazy,” which became Hagar’s only solo top 20 hit, peaking at #13 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album remains a favorite among Hagar fans, representing his pre-Van Halen peak as a solo artist.
