On this day, November 21, 1980, REO Speedwagon released their ninth studio album, Hi Infidelity. The album became a massive success, hitting #1 on the US Billboard 200 charts and also topping the charts in Canada.

Featuring iconic tracks like “Take It On the Run” and the power ballad “Keep On Loving You,” Hi Infidelity remains REO Speedwagon’s most successful album, selling over 10 million copies worldwide and defining the sound of early 80s rock.
