Remember Lisa Whelchel’s 80s Christian pop album?

So here is one you might have forgotten. In 1984 Lisa Whelchel also known as Blair from The Facts of Life released a full Christian pop album called All Because of You.

It actually got a Grammy nomination for Best Inspirational Album and even had a few music videos. Did anyone actually own this on cassette or vinyl back in the day?

Yes I do! I remember seeing a commercial for it on a Christian TV channel during the early 1980’s but I never heard the album.

Never heard of it. I didn’t know that Blair could sing.

Wait what? Blair had a Christian pop album . That’s news to me! I watched The Facts of Life religiously and somehow missed that little side project. I can’t even picture Blair singing about anything that didn’t involve shopping or snobby boyfriends. Now I’m curious but also kinda scared to listen. Was it totally 80s cheesy or actually good?
