On this day, September 27, 1982, Depeche Mode released their second studio album A Broken Frame. The album marked a significant moment for the band as it was their first without founding member Vince Clarke. Despite the transition, A Broken Frame reached #177 on the US Billboard charts and fared much better in the UK, where it peaked at #8. With tracks like “See You” and “The Meaning of Love,” the album showcased Depeche Mode’s growing maturity and evolving sound.

Who remembers this early Depeche Mode release?
