Starring Robby Benson, Pat Hingle, Claudia Cron, and Jeff McCracken, the film tells the inspiring true story of Billy Mills, a Native American runner who overcame obstacles to win the 10,000-meter race at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. Despite its modest box office earnings of $3 million against an $8 million budget, Running Brave became known for its uplifting message and portrayal of resilience.
