On This Day September 14 1984 – Tooth and Nail Album by Dokken Released.

On this day September 14 1984, Dokken released their second studio album Tooth and Nail through Elektra Records. After a rocky debut, this album showed the band pushing harder into melodic heavy metal with crunchy riffs, soaring leads, and more polished production. It was also the first Dokken album with bassist Jeff Pilson, who replaced Juan Croucier.
