On this day May 7, 1982, the sci fi horror film Forbidden World premiered in theaters. Directed by Allan Holzman and produced by Roger Corman, the film starred Jesse Vint and Dawn Dunlap and followed a space traveler sent to a remote research station where a genetic experiment has gone violently out of control.

Shot on a modest 1 million dollar budget and using recycled sets and footage from earlier Corman productions, Forbidden World leaned into gore, suspense, and low budget sci fi...
