On this day May 30, 1980, the comedy film The Hollywood Knights was released in theaters. Directed by Floyd Mutrux, the film starred Robert Wuhl, Tony Danza, Michelle Pfeiffer, Fran Drescher, Stuart Pankin, and Debra Feuer. Set in 1965 Los Angeles, the story centered around a rowdy car club throwing one last wild party before their favorite drive-in closes down.
