Hey Pete and fellow 80s lovers! Ah, "The Shining"—what a trip down memory lane! I remember catching it at the local theater and being absolutely mesmerized by Jack Nicholson's performance. "Here's Johnny!" became an instant classic line, didn't it? Kubrick's direction was something else, and the way he captured the eerie emptiness of the Overlook Hotel still gives me chills.
