On this day May 15, 1987, NBC aired the final episode of Roomies, a short lived sitcom that paired two unlikely characters as college roommates. The show starred Burt Young as a gruff retired Marine who decides to attend college and Corey Haim as a teenage genius who enters school early. Together, they navigated campus life while clashing over their vastly different personalities and life experiences.
