On this day March 8 1986 British rock legend Cliff Richard teamed up with the cast of the hit comedy series The Young Ones to release a new version of Living Doll in support of Comic Relief. The song was a reworking of Richard’s 1959 classic but with added comedic elements and spoken-word segments from The Young Ones cast including Rik Mayall Adrian Edmondson Nigel Planer and Christopher Ryan.
