On this day March 27 1984 Ratt released their debut album Out of the Cellar and exploded onto the glam metal scene. Fueled by heavy riffs slick production and high energy vocals the album quickly climbed the charts and established Ratt as one of the top rock bands of the decade.

Out of the Cellar reached number 7 on the US Billboard 200 and went on to sell over 3 million copies in the United States. The album featured the massive hit Round and Round which became a staple of 80s rock radio...
