On This Day: March 15 1988 Trial and Error Premiered on CBS.

On this day March 15 1988 the legal comedy series Trial and Error premiered on CBS. Starring Paul Rodriguez the show followed a fast-talking and unconventional lawyer navigating the courtroom with humor and wit.

Despite its unique premise the series struggled to find an audience and was canceled after just one season with only eight episodes airing. Although short-lived it showcased Rodriguez’s comedic talents and added to his growing career in television and stand-up comedy.
