On this day March 10 1981 Joe Walsh released his fifth solo album There Goes the Neighborhood. The album showcased Walsh’s signature blend of rock blues and humor while delivering some of his most memorable solo work.

Peaking at number 20 on the Billboard 200 the album featured the hit single A Life of Illusion which became one of Walsh’s most recognized songs. Other standout tracks included Made Your Mind Up and Rivers of the Hidden Funk solidifying the album as a fan favorite.
