On this day June 27 1986, the action comedy Running Scared premiered in theaters. Directed by Peter Hyams, the film starred Gregory Hines and Billy Crystal as two wisecracking Chicago cops looking to retire but forced to take down a dangerous drug dealer played by Jimmy Smits.
