On June 25, 1982, the groundbreaking science fiction film “Blade Runner” premiered in theaters. Directed by Ridley Scott and starring Harrison Ford, the film introduced audiences to a dystopian future where advanced synthetic humans known as replicants are hunted by specialized police operatives called Blade Runners.
