On this day June 20, 1986, The Karate Kid Part II premiered in theaters. Directed by John G Avildsen and starring Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita, the sequel picked up right where the original left off and took Daniel and Mr Miyagi to Okinawa for a more personal and emotional journey.
