On this day June 15, 1989, Paula Abdul released the single Cold Hearted, a bold dance pop track that would go on to dominate the charts later that year.

Cold Hearted reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 during the week of September 2 through September 8. It also hit number 1 in Canada, becoming one of the most successful singles from her debut album Forever Your Girl.
