On this day June 14, 1988, Nuclear Assault released their second studio album Survive. As one of the standout bands in the late 80s thrash metal scene, the group pushed their sound further with blistering speed, sharp riffs and politically charged lyrics that tackled topics ranging from war to environmental destruction.
