On this day June 10, 1983, Rod Stewart released his twelfth studio album Body Wishes. The album marked a continued shift toward a sleeker, more synth driven pop sound that reflected the evolving tastes of early 80s audiences. While it only reached number 30 on the US Billboard charts, it performed significantly better in the UK, where it climbed to number 5.
