On this day June 1, 1984, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock premiered in theaters across the United States. Directed by Leonard Nimoy, the film picked up where Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan left off, as Admiral Kirk and his crew risk everything to recover the body and spirit of Spock.
