On this day August 24 1985, The Dream Team made up of Brutus Beefcake and Greg Valentine defeated The U S Express, Barry Windham and Mike Rotundo, to capture the WWF Tag Team Championship. This win came during the height of the WWF’s national explosion and solidified The Dream Team as one of the premier tag teams of the era.
