On this day April 18, 1988, Eric Clapton released the box set Crossroads, a massive four disc collection that traced his legendary career from the 1960s through the 1980s. The set featured tracks from his time with The Yardbirds, Cream, Blind Faith, Derek and the Dominos, and his solo work, making it one of the most comprehensive retrospectives ever released by a rock artist at the time.
