On this day, November 1, 1988, Israeli singer Ofra Haza released her seventeenth album, Shaday. Blending traditional Middle Eastern music with electronic and pop elements, Shaday brought Haza international recognition and reached #130 on the Billboard charts. The album featured the hit single “Im Nin’Alu,” which became a global sensation and highlighted Haza’s unique voice and cultural influence.
