On this day, February 6, 1987, Light of Day premiered in theaters. Directed by Paul Schrader, the film starred Michael J. Fox and rock singer Joan Jett as struggling musicians trying to make it in the Midwest rock scene while dealing with family conflicts. The cast also included Gena Rowlands, Jason Miller, and Michael McKean.
