On this day, October 20, 1986, John Farnham released his 12th studio album Whispering Jack in Australia. The album was a massive success, hitting #1 in both Australia and Sweden. Featuring the iconic hit “You’re the Voice,” Whispering Jack won “Album of the Year” in Australia and became one of Farnham’s most beloved works.
